JUSTIN BIEBER ANNOUNCES
PURPOSE WORLD TOUR
STADIUM SUPPORT ACTS:
MIGOS & VIC MENSA

(July 17, 2017) – Following the conclusion of the European, Latin American and Australia & New Zealand legs of his PURPOSE WORLD TOUR – and newly announced Asia dates – global superstar Justin Bieber has announced Migos & Vic Mensa as support acts for the tour’s upcoming shows at MetLife Stadium on August 23 and 24.

Tickets for the stadium shows are available at www.ticketmaster.com. A number of VIP packages are also offered on the upcoming stadium dates, which – in addition to great seats – can include exclusive VIP merchandise and much more. For more information, please visit www.justinbiebermusic.com and for a detailed itinerary of shows, please see below.

Migos have taken the music world by storm; their seminal album C U L T U R E, released via Quality Control Music/300 Entertainment, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Charts, has already been streamed over 1 billion times and is RIAA certified Platinum. Their single “Bad and Boujee” has not only hit #1 on the Billboard Charts and received an RIAA Platinum certification, but also has become immortalized as a symbol of modern pop culture. Members Quavo, Offset and Takeoff erupted onto the scene back in 2009 with a sound that blends the authentic tradition of ATL hip-hop with their signature flow and earworm hooks unlike anything else. With national performances on live television such as Saturday Night Live with Katy Perry, Ellen and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and a spot alongside Future on the recently wrapped sold out “Nobody Safe” arena tour already under their belt this year alone, Migos are bringing the culture everywhere they go.

Vic Mensa is a 23-year-old Roc Nation phenomenon on the verge of global greatness. His debut album The Autobiography is a culmination of his life experiences, woven into one genius narrative. Mensa digs deeply into his past (“Didn’t I,” “Heaven On Earth”), proving how it affects his present (“Rollin Like A Stoner,” “Down 4 Some Ignorance”), and how to move forward with his future (“We Could Be Free,” “Rage”). Strategically sequenced from start to finish, the project discusses love and loss, while also tackling Mensa’s struggles with addiction and depression. With production from Pharrell Williams, No I.D., and 1500 or Nothin, plus guest appearances from the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, Saul Williams, and Chief Keef, Vic Mensa has crafted an intensely intimate sonic memoir with The Autobiography. Raised on the South Side of Chicago, Vic Mensa first came into fame in 2013 as part of rap collective SAVEMONEY with Chance The Rapper. He has since forged a path for himself, earning a spot on the coveted XXL Freshman cover in 2014, bookended by his critically acclaimed INNANETAPE (2013) and There's Alot Going On (2016). The Autobiography (2017) is his first full-length project.

Since the North American launch of the Purpose World Tour in March 2016, Bieber has sold out 64 U.S. and 52 international tour dates, thrilling fans around the world with his dynamic, must-see live show. Additionally, $1.00 from each ticket purchased will be donated to Pencils of Promise, a charity which works to build schools and increase educational opportunities in the developing world.  Details at www.pencilsofpromise.org

Global superstar Justin Bieber is once again ruling the summer airwaves and dominating the charts, as his smash hits the “Despacito” Remix and the DJ Khaled-collaboration "I'm The One” sit at #1 and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 respectively, week after week. Justin recently made history with the two tracks as the first artist ever to tally new No. 1s on the Hot 100 in consecutive weeks, becoming Bieber’s fourth and fifth No. 1 singles. Justin’s Purpose album - released on November 13, 2015 - opened at #1 in over 100 countries around the world, has sold over 10 million copies globally to date, and garnered a 2016 Grammy nomination for Album Of The Year. Purpose shattered global streaming records and has yielded three consecutive #1 singles in the US – “What Do You Mean,” “Sorry,” and “Love Yourself,” which received a Grammy nomination for Record Of The Year. In late 2015, all three tracks landed at #1, #2 and #3 on the UK singles chart, surpassing a record previously held by The Beatles and making Bieber the artist to ever accomplish such a feat. In February 2016, Justin won his first Grammy: Best Dance Song for the Purpose track “Where Are You Now.” Justin Bieber is the first artist to reach over 10 Billion views on VEVO. In 2014, Justin was ranked by Twitter as the #1 most tweeted about musical artist of the year. He has released five number-one albums to-date and has starred in two films, Never Say Never (2011) and Believe (2013). In 2011, he was nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy. In 2013, Bieber received a Diamond award from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) to recognize his single “Baby” as the best-selling digital song of all-time with over 10 million copies sold.
